Our 360 RIG camera joined Mark Ronson at the Principal Hotel launch in Manchester recently for a celeb-strewn partay extraordinaire.
The party, in association with Sunday Times Style, saw over 1,500 guests toasting the hotel revamp in true Mancunian style. Movie stars like Tamer Hassan and Dougray Scott rubbed shoulders with local legends from the Stone Roses and New Order. Musical entertainment was supplied by Mr Ronson, as well as the Unabombers, Sink the Pink and Horse Meat Disco.
Joining the northern knees-up was our 360 RIG. This techno-marvel captures 360 degree and slow-motion videos. Why? Because it looks awesome and it’s massive fun that’s why!
This takes the photo booth concept to a whole new level… Check out the videos below to see what our guests got up to in the RIG.
Happy as Larry
Right into the spirit of it this chap. Look at that face! Clearly not his first time on the dancefloors of Manchester.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Flagon
An unusual tack here… confetti toss and slow descent into zen-like calm. Different, but we like different around these parts.
Slow and Steady
More of a gradual confetti-chuck here. Waste not want not, as grandma used to say.
Gung Ho
…Or just fling it all up there and revel in your moment upon the pedestal. In a shirt as flagrantly awesome as that, all you can do is revel.
360 RIG Jig
A great chance to bust out your favourite moves and get a 360 degree view of how you look. Like the fitting rooms at H&M, only with more confetti and cocktails. And company.
Sprinkle Toes
Another twinkle toes here… we like the last little of bit of confetti saved and delicately sprinkled towards the end. Nice touch.
Running (Gentle)Man
Easily the most dapper running man we’ve ever seen. Just a gentle cascade of confetti then on with the perfectly-dressed strides. Now that’s style.
