In the next of this new series of posts, we’ll be looking at another supplier we’ve worked with that we really like! Check out Sydney’s Miss Wallflower.

The lovely Jane Irvine is the creative splendour behind Miss Wallflower, which supplies walls and backdrops for parties and events. She adds her special touch as a backdrop for our photo booth, as well as creating feature walls for wedding ceremonies, stalls, drinks/dessert tables, bars, seating areas and lots more. Let’s take a look…

The Serena

Mad Hatter

The Serena backdrop features a lattice foliage backdrop with the addition of any variety of silk flowers, crumple paper flowers or paper decorations. The Mad Hatter themed backdrop above was created for a 30th birthday party at The Confetti Fair.

Jane was a visual merchandiser before starting up Miss Wallflower seven years ago, and puts all her skill and experience into making stunning arrangements for her clients. We’ve done a few events with her now and are always impressed with the superior service and style Jane supplies!

The Serena can be customised according to whatever colour scheme you like for your event. We like the idea of creating a feature out of a dessert or drinks table like the fruity one above…

…We also like this feature wall to draw attention to this little seating area. You could recycle a wall like this for different parts of a wedding space, moving it to different spots as the day and evening progress.

The Green Wall

Leafy backdrop

Plenty of greenery going on here, with fresh foliage added to the lattice backdrop. Perfect for a jungle or safari themed party photo booth with some of our animal masks perhaps?

The Jenny

Paper flowers

A riot of colour here! We love this wall… honeycombs, pom poms, tassels and pinwheels, all customisable in whatever colours you like. This one went down a treat at a children’s birthday party.

The flower wall above was created for a spectacular ‘Enchanted Garden’ birthday party for Crane Bar, organised by Cloud 9 Events. Check out the gold accents with foliage and natural flowers. Marvellous.

The Chuck

Silver curtain

Add a bit of retro sparkle to your event with The Chuck. This spangly number is tastefully adorned here with white and grey paper decorations but can be coordinated however you wish.

The Eleanor – Selfie Wall

Staircase

Good old astroturf put to great use here! A selfie wall at The Ivanhoe Manly on Melbourne Cup race day. Clearly crying out for a few rubber horse head masks from our collection but we do like this verdant number.

If you fancy one of these, or something similar, at your next Sydney event, do get in touch with Jane at [email protected]. Or, if you just want to keep tabs on her creative exploits, wander over to her Facebook or Instagram pages.
