The Photo Booth Guys joined in the spooky fun at a recent Fright Night at Warner Brothers’ Movieworld Gold Coast theme park.
The horror…
We joined RACQ for a promotion around its Free2Go roadside assistance cover for 16-19 year olds. We brought a whole load of goodies, including a photo booth with horror-themed props, a face-morphing booth and a few social media sharing kiosks to get those photos out there.
Freaky fun
The photo booth was present for guests at the Fright Night to use as they entered the park. Gruesome props were laid out to match the freaky fancy dress on show, and heaps of RACQ-branded photos were printed out for free from the booth.
Fright Night
Fright Night at Movie World is a scary evening of terrifying mazes, panic rooms, bags of blood and zombies wandering around everywhere to scare the crap out of people. Yes, people actually pay to experience this, and flock to enjoy the freaky street performances and live entertainment at the park.
Face-morph magic
Our face-morphing booth was awesome fun, with videos of the face-morphs being played on a TV along to sinister screaming and laughing sounds. The videos, as well as the photos, could be shared by people on their profiles using our social media kiosks set up next to the booth.
Our social media sharing kiosks can be branded or designed any way you like, and add some serious weight to the impact of an activation. Everyone wants to share such killer photos and videos, and the kiosks allow people to get right on with it.
The results
Let’s have a quick look at some of the frightful results from our booth…
Floral frights
Never have roses looked so creepy… clowns have certainly dropped in popularity in recent years, and the creep factor is high here.
Headache
Just a few pals hanging out at the theme park. One with a knife through her head. Whatevs.
Healthy balance
This dude is about to drink a blood bag and syringe full of blue stuff, but we like that he’s also got a sensible bottle of water too. Nice balance.
Sensible Psyscho
Psycho mask: check. Scythe: check. Bloodstained overalls and not a lovely nautical-themed t-shirt: erm…
Hipster horror
This suave couple will not be sacrificing style in the fancy dress stakes, thank you very much. On-trend top hat + ironic knife and a sleek mask will do the job just fine.
Freaky family
May as well get everyone involved! Good to see the whole family joining in the horror show.
Glam ghouls
Jason Voorhees never looked this good! Nice to get your hair and nails looking just-so for a night of horror, great work ladies.
Hands off
Whose hand is that? This chap is a bit spooked before even getting into the park bless him.
Face off
Who needs a mask with a face like that? Sort of an evil pout, enhanced by the weird ringleader hat. Top marks.
Thanks to RACQ and Movieworld for plenty of ghoulish good times… more photo booth fun over on our Instagram, Facebook (UK or Australia) or Pinterest pages.
