The month of May just about rocked our socks off here at The Photo Booth Guys. SO we thought we’d share a few of our favourite moments with y’all!
From snapping jolly inmates at a gaol to some wondrous weddings, we had a lot of fun. Check out the highlights below and maybe snaffle a few ideas for your own event…
Boggo Road Gaol, Brisbane
Said to be haunted, Boggo Road Gaol only closed its doors to inmates in 1992. Now used for events and weddings, this listed building was the perfect setting for a ‘mugshot’ backdrop in our booth at the RACGP conference dinner.
Pinwheel backdrop at Babalou, Kingscliff
Gorgeous oceanside venue Babalou was the venue for Charles and Chantelle’s super-stylish wedding reception. The couple opted for a sculptural pinwheel backdrop for their photo booth, along with some spangly homemade speech bubbles and signs!
DIY Backdrop for Aleisha & Richard
The sprawling Gabbinbar Estate was the amazing venue for this sumptuous wedding. The bride and groom chose a DIY fake turf backdrop for their photo booth, complete with daisies and an ornate mirror frame… sounds odd but it worked perfectly!
InstaPrinta @ Coco de Luma relaunch
Award-winning hair and beauty salon Coco de Luma brought in our mighty InstaPrinta for their swanky relaunch party. Glamorous guests Instagrammed themselves and the opulent snacks, taking away their branded prints as a reminder of the bash. If they serve pearl-encrusted strawberries there all the time, we think we’ve found our new hair salon…
Stuff we designed
Custom decal
We gave North Coast Tafe quite a boost at a careers expo in May with our InstaPrinta, complete with custom decal (see left of pic). Rather handsome we’re sure you’ll agree.
Brand new strip design
Nathan and Tida’s big day was an awesome event, and their photo booth guests took away one of our brand spanking new strip designs. The yellow chevrons backdrop with the red framing gives it all quite a pop we think.
Custom speech bubbles
Custom speech bubbles were the order of the day for the Safety and Wellbeing Workshop Dinner back in May. Wellbeing was at particularly high levels in our photo booth and our guests were, as they say in London, “safe”.
Thank you card
One of our favourite May moments was definitely receiving this thank you card from newlyweds Ryan and Kristi for being a part of their big day! We were also rather pleased to see they used a photo booth pic for their cards. Another great idea!
