// The Event

RACQ brought the pipes to Brisbane.

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo landed at Suncorp Stadium in February 2026 — a spectacle of pageantry, precision and Highland tradition. RACQ, as presenting partner, needed an activation that matched the occasion. Something with personality. Something guests would actually want to share.

// What We Did

We turned every guest into a bagpiper.

HeyOK built a Generative AI portrait experience into RACQ's custom activation wall at the venue. Guests stepped up to a 55-inch touch screen, took their photo, and waited around 20 seconds while AI placed them in full Highland bagpiper dress — tartan kilt, bearskin hat, and RACQ brand colours throughout. A QR code delivered the digital copy instantly. Physical prints came straight out of the wall.

// The Outcome

625 AI portraits. 1,300 digital shares. Three days.

The activation ran across all three event days and maintained strong throughput throughout. Guests scanned and shared at a rate of roughly two digital shares per image generated — a clear signal the output was worth keeping. The RACQ brand travelled home in every pocket.

Custom kiosk. Instant Highland transformation.

The experience was built directly into RACQ's activation wall — no freestanding rig, no visual clutter. Everything was intentional.

Designed for the floor, built for throughput.

The 55-inch touch screen interface was custom-built for RACQ's activation wall at Suncorp Stadium. Guests self-directed through the experience — photo capture, AI processing, and output delivery — without staff needing to guide every step. The kiosk handled volume without bottlenecks.

Generative AI placed each guest in full bagpiper costume: RACQ-coloured tartan, bearskin hat, full Highland dress. The branded output frame carried the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Brisbane 2026 mark and RACQ's presenting partner credit. Physical prints were dispensed from the activation wall itself.
