The Brief

HeyOK reimagined the traditional conference photo moment with an interactive, nostalgia-driven brand activation inspired by the iconic 1980s toy kaleidoscope. Designed to surprise and delight, the experience delivered a visually rich, multi-dimensional content moment that stood out on the show floor and sparked conversation throughout the event

The client wanted something unexpected and memorable—an activation that moved beyond standard photography to create deeper engagement, encourage sharing, and deliver branded content at scale.

The Idea

Drawing inspiration from the playful symmetry and colour of a classic kaleidoscope, we designed a bespoke UX-led photo experience that blended creativity, motion and personalisation. The result was a striking visual output that felt both retro and futuristic, perfectly suited to a modern conference audience.
