When London’s biggest brewery decides to throw a party to celebrate 170 years of family-owned beer-making, you know you’re in for a good night!

Fuller’s brought along 800 of its landlords, staff and friends to the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane to help them mark the company’s longstanding success. Guests in black tie sipped champagne and, of course, a selection of fine ales from the cellars of the Chiswick brewer, operating out of the same premises since 1845!

The Photo Booth Guys were invited along to keep the guests entertained throughout the night with two Photo Booths set up to spread the demand… One backdrop featured the company’s logo and the other was left plain for a more classic look, with our printers sporting a rather dashing 170th anniversary logo design.

Guests certainly took the chance to have a bit of a lark, as might be expected in a huge party filled with hotel and pub landlords! Considering a lot of the guests make a living from beer, let’s see how the professionals approach a big night out

Slow and steady wins the race we’re always told… Usain Bolt might disagree but this lot certainly kicked off the evening in a very restrained and elegant manner. Always takes a while to loosen up when you’re dressed up to the nines and your wife just spent nine hours getting ready.

Rosé cheeks

Aha getting a little cheekier here as things go on. Still looking very composed but the formality is starting to wear off nicely…

Beer goggles

Fullers 5

Still early days here but those glasses have no lenses in and there’s definitely something wrong with those signs. He’s wearing a captain’s hat though, so he must know what he’s talking about.

It wasn’t me

Fullers 6

Oh sure, just blame the bar staff! These jokers don’t look like they need any excuses do they… especially seeing as the staff appear to be a touch distracted.

Animal behaviour

Fullers 8

As the evening wears on, some people just turn into animals. Fortunately this is something we always come prepared for.

Has Bollywood done Planet of the Apes yet? Here’s how that might look, in case you were wondering. And this next chap can clearly empathise with old Charlton Heston on the monkey/human thing…

Thank you and goodnight

Fullers 12

A massive thank you to Fuller’s for a magnificent evening and to all those who made the evening such a blast! Here’s to another 170 years of beer…
